WE HEART HAITI

Many people are horrified and saddened to see what the people of Haiti are facing, with the devastation of their country and shocking loss of life. It is so hard to imagine, as we sit in our warm, lit houses, eating our fill and viewing it all from afar on our television screens. Those that have managed to survive do not even have  the basics needed for survival, such as food, clean water, shelter, driveable roads, and hospitals to treat the wounded.

I believe it is our responsibility to do what we can to help, no matter how small our contribution may seem. Many people are organizing fund-raisers and compiling lists of stores which plan to donate proceeds to Haitian Relief through various organizations such as the Red Cross etc. One such list is that of Etsy shops, whose sellers plan to donate proceeds of their sales to help. If you're planning to buy a gift or make a personal purchase anyways, consider doing so from one of the shops below.
We can all make a difference!

HEARTS FOR HAITI:
A collaboration of Etsy sellers who have joined together and are donating items for sale. All proceeds will be going directly to Doctors Without Borders for Haiti Relief.

($1.2 Million in Donations for Haiti, via Text Message so far)
